Phrixotrichus scrofa 0.5-1cm

Phrixotrichus scrofa is a medium-sized, terrestrial tarantula native to Chile.

• Size: Females: 6-8 cm, Males: 5-6 cm.
• Coloration: Dark brown/black body with reddish-orange markings on legs.
• Habitat: Endemic to Chile, found in arid, semi-arid regions and the Andean foothills.
• Temperature: 20-25°C (68-77°F).
• Humidity: Moderate, around 50-60%.
• Terrarium: A 30x30x30 cm enclosure with 10-15 cm of substrate, hiding spots, and a shallow water dish.
• Feeding: Crickets, roaches, locusts, mealworms.
• Temperament: Calm, docile, but may become defensive if threatened.
